April - Sweet Spring

Favorite Things This Month:

Babies, babies, and more babies..... everyday at daycare Hazel finds every baby doll in the room, puts them in the swing, and pushes them back and forth (what a great little mommy).
Playing at the park... Hazel a little dare devil. She loves sliding head first down the slide and feels no need to have adult supervision. She loves swinging and I think this may stem from all the swinging we did with her in her car seat. Whenever the swing comes to and end she always signs for more.

Really into watching planes in the sky and birds

Hair, nose, shoes, socks, ears (tries to put on shoes and socks) Loves trying on everyone's shoes
When she needed her diaper changed she grabbed the diaper and laid down. Even used a wipe to wipe her babies bum!

Celebrating Stella's 2nd Birthday
The Annual Easter Celebration at the Robillard's. Hazel loved the petting zoo this year and wasn't even scared of the large llama, or getting in the blow up bouncy with all the big kids but sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap was completely another story. Didn't even want to go near the Easter Bunny even with Mom!

March - Happy St. Patrick's Day

Seriously, don't get me wrong I love Minnesota but I am really getting sick of the fridge cold and the snow. I am really starting to crave spring... the green grass, the fresh air, thunderstorms,birds, and the simple spring breeze.

Favorite Things This Month:

Talking up a storm - new words Santa, vavoom (aka: vacuum), please, more, & quack quack...
Signing - please, more, and cracker (Hazel is so proud to use her words and signs)
Peek-a-Boo (sometimes she takes off running when her eyes are covered so we have to be on the watch)
Blowing kisses
Grandma Morris's Birthday
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day- Nana's meal was amazing
Spending the weekend with Michelle & Dan - cross country skiing was awesome

Happy Birthday Daddy

We are shifting gears a bit and I am going to start posting monthly versus weekly. For each of our children I hope to capture their first year of life week by week and turn it into a blog book they can read when they are older. I have accomplished that goal and it has been crossed off the list!
