Family Shower for Baby Morris

My Aunt Cindy hosted a family shower for little Baby Morris on 12/28. It was so great to be able to celebrate the birth of the next generation with family. It was great to hear all the advice and stories of the past. Mike and I will ensure to hold the baby right side up :)

College Friends- Baby Morris Shower

Cheers to my college ladies.............December 21st my college friends Mere & Kim throw me a wonderful shower!

I can't believe we have been out of undergrad for more than 8 years. Gosh it just seems like yesterday when we were all up at St. Ben's.

It is amazing to see that our friendships have stayed strong and continue to grow today.

Nursery.... waiting for Baby Morris to arrive!!

BEFORE/AFTER

The nursery is all complete just waiting for Baby G Morris to arrive in January!! So much love and hard work has gone into creating this great space.

What we did:

• Installed: Crown molding, wood ceiling, chair railing, and plantation shutters

• Painted: Dressers, maple woodwork, wood ceiling, and walls
• Added round legs & molding to dresser
• Rewired chandler

• Designed and sewed bedding- (Mom you are awesome and what a gift you have)
• Designed changing table - (way to go honey)

*My design consultant (aka Mom) *Lead carpenter (aka Dad) *My finisher (aka amazing Husband who worked into the wee hours of the night to ensure everything was complete prior to his back surgery and putting up with all my demands)!!!

My goodness did Gretchen & Anne host a beautiful baby shower for Baby Morris!! From the cake to the decorations everything was just perfect! I was so happy to see everyone that could attend. Baby Morris is sure entering this world surround by so much

love and so many wonderful women! (still waiting for a picture of all the lovely ladies to include in this post..coming soon)
